Railcorp XPT Railcorp had over the years come Valvelink to repair the existing actuators on their valves. These actuators had gone through design changes and the model that they had was no longer supported and spares were becoming expensive and hard to come by, to replace the existing actuator with the new model was expensive and the new actuator was over kill for the application. We at Valvelink asked exactly what was required of the actuator and the parameters that it had to operate in, what its operation was – Open/close or modulating? Once these parameters were ascertained we were able to offer alternative options. We threw up 2 suitable solutions that met the pricing structure and the operating parameters. Railcorp wanted to trial one of the options to see if it could carry out the work load. And as you can see from the photos the actuator a Noah -19 they trialed past with flying colours, the Noah-19 actuator was complimented by our fantastic cast steel & Stainless steel flanged ball valves.
